About Me
My Philosophy
My goal as your doula is to educate and empower you to make informed decisions about your birth and initial postpartum period. I will be there to remind you that you have a say in how your experience goes. That it's OKAY to ask questions of your provider. That you SHOULD ask questions. I center the pregnant person as the agent of your own experience, taking your lead and helping you find your groove as a birthing person and as a parent.
I will be there as your extra set of hands to guide and encourage you, as well as lend a listening ear for your questions and concerns. I truly believe that there is no ONE way or RIGHT way to birth or parent.
I promise to be judgement free in helping you and your family in your transition to parenthood.

My Story
Hi! I'm Lindsey!
I am a Los Angeles native who is passionate about advocating for and empowering pregnant people and parents. After the birth of my own daughter, I discovered how truly important it is to have a support system and advocates in place during these life changing moments. This experience ignited my passion for birthwork and initiated my journey as a birth worker.
As an educator, mommy and me teacher, and coach, I have been supporting families in various forms since 2001, so I am quite familiar with and comfortable around new parents and babies. Because I spent a huge portion of my life working with babies and children, I thought pregnancy and parenthood would be a walk in the park. BOY WAS I WRONG! It was a huge shock and at times, isolating and lonely, which is why I'm so passionate in supporting new parents in this journey. You don't have to do this alone, and having guidance and care during the process is proven to increase positive outcomes.
Being an advocate and educator means that my goal is to make sure that pregnant people feel supported in their pregnancy and birth experience. I want parents-to-be to feel heard and supported with this portion of their journey to parenthood.
In addition to my doula work, I am currently enrolled in midwifery school at National Midwifery Institute (NMI) in the pursuit of becoming a home birth midwife.
